Welcome

At NCC, we utilize a comprehensive and evidence-informed approach to evaluate and improve brain functioning. This program is designed to address attention, executive functioning, and emotional regulation through objective data, clinical expertise, and structured intervention. The goal is to support meaningful and sustainable improvements in daily functioning.

Discovery

Discovery is the foundation of meaningful change. When we take the time to understand how our brain functions, how it processes information, regulates attention, and responds to demands, we gain clarity that replaces confusion and frustration. Rather than guessing or relying on trial and error, discovery provides objective insight into the patterns that shape behavior and performance. This understanding is essential for developing effective, individualized strategies. When you truly know how your brain works, you are no longer reacting to challenges, you are equipped to take intentional control, build on your strengths, and move forward with direction and confidence.

Brain + Behavior Training

Brain and behavioral training is grounded in a multifaceted approach that examines ADHD through a biopsychosocial lens. This process integrates objective brain data with an understanding of cognitive patterns, emotional regulation, and daily behavioral functioning. By looking at how neurological activity, psychological processes, and lifestyle factors interact, we are able to identify the specific mechanisms that influence attention, impulse control, and performance. This comprehensive perspective allows for targeted, individualized interventions that address not only how the brain functions, but also how those patterns translate into real-world behavior and daily life.

Optimal Performance

Optimal performance is not a fixed state, but a dynamic process that evolves over time and differs for each individual. It reflects the ability to function effectively in daily life while adapting to changing demands, energy levels, and environments. Each person brings a unique combination of strengths, challenges, and patterns of brain functioning, which means there is no single standard for what optimal looks like. By understanding these individual differences, we can define performance in a way that is realistic, sustainable, and aligned with personal goals, allowing individuals to function with greater clarity, consistency, and confidence.

Phase 1: Discovery Evaluation

The Discovery Evaluation is a diagnostic assessment that provides a detailed understanding of cognitive, behavioral, and neurological functioning.

  • Diagnostic evaluation based on DSM-5-TR criteria
  • Functional assessment of executive domains including attention, initiation, impulse control, working memory, and emotional regulation
  • Quantitative EEG (QEEG) brain mapping to assess brainwave activity
  • Comprehensive report with findings, functional profile, and individualized recommendations
    .

Phase 2: 12-Week Treatment Program

Following the evaluation, clients participate in a structured 12-week program designed to improve brain regulation, executive functioning, and daily performance.

  • Neurofeedback training conducted at home using a personalized protocol, completed three to five times per week with remote monitoring
  • Weekly clinical check-ins to review progress, address challenges, and adjust the treatment plan as needed
  • Executive functioning skill development targeting initiation, planning, organization, time management, working memory, and emotional regulation
  • Ongoing progress tracking to monitor changes in focus, energy, task completion, and emotional stability
  • Educational guidance to increase understanding of brain function and support effective strategy implementation
  • Nutrition recommendations to support cognitive performance, energy regulation, and overall brain health
  • Optional supplement guidance based on individual needs
Structured routine support to improve consistency in daily functioning
  • Accountability measures to support follow-through and sustained progress

Expected Outcomes

  • Improved attention and sustained focus
  • Increased ability to initiate and complete tasks
  • Enhanced emotional regulation
  • Reduced mental fatigue and overwhelm
  • Improved consistency in routines and responsibilities
  • Greater confidence in managing daily demands
