NeuroCare Center (NCC) is veteran owned with a team that is dedicated to providing holistic and personalized Behavioral health services in the Lake of the Ozarks community. We are based out of Osage Beach and our team of experts offers a comprehensive range of services, including neuropsychological assessments, therapy, and cognitive rehabilitation and cognitive training, both in-person and via telehealth.

About me
Founder & Clinical Psychologist
From a young age, Dr. Genevieve Bendeck was fascinated by how the brain shapes our lives—how it influences who we become, how we learn, how we love, and how we overcome adversity. That passion eventually led her to pursue advanced training in neuropsychology and a career devoted to understanding the science of resilience.
Early in her training, she worked with a young student who struggled deeply with learning. He tried harder than anyone in the room… yet kept being told he “wasn’t trying hard enough.” Through a comprehensive evaluation, she discovered a neurological pattern that not only explained his challenges—but revealed strengths no one had ever recognized. When she shared this with the family, she saw something shift:
hope.
Direction.
Relief that finally made sense.
That moment crystallized her mission.
Dr. Bendeck founded NeuroCare to ensure no one has to navigate their struggles without understanding why. She believes that with clear answers, compassionate guidance, and the right brain-based tools, individuals can build a life that reflects their full potential.
